Pen Turning by Mervyn Cadman.

I have been wood turning for around 25 years or so and within the last 2 years have acquired the love for turning pens of various different designs.

I have also mastered the craft of casting my own acrylics for my pen turning and coming up with some very unusual colour effects, I was recently commissioned by the BBC to cast some blanks for some props for the new series of Dr Who.

I really wanted to take pen turning to another level and incorporate feathers into my pens, I already had a basic idea on how these are created, but I sought to have my own style, being an avid trout fisherman I wanted to create pens for the fishing and shooting world.

My inventory is constantly growing as I am always in search of only the most unique and exotic timbers and various materials to make my pens.
